This single-day, entry-level class is perfect for the shooter who already has a solid handle on safety, but is ready to learn the fundamentals the right way! Whether you’ve been shooting on your own for years and finally want to get some formal training, or you’re new to shooting and want to start off on the right foot, or you’re already a good shooter and need a refresher class with perhaps some new ways of looking at things, this is the class for you! 

NOTE: While there are no training or skill prerequisites for this class, students will be required to have an understanding of and the ability to follow the universal firearms safety rules, draw and holster safely, and have an open mind.

  • Basics of sight management 

  • Applying proper trigger control

  • Presentations and acquiring the dot/sights

  • Refining the draw (both AIWB and OWB) 

  • Recoil control

  • Visual “confirmation levels” (learning various aiming schemes)

  • Target transitions

  • Gear set up

  • Building a dry fire training plan

  • Intro to movement
