This single-day, entry-level class is perfect for the shooter who already has a solid handle on safety, but is ready to learn the fundamentals the right way! The only thing more American than owning an AR15 is knowing how to use it! Whether you’ve been shooting on your own for years and and are doing pretty well but finally want to get some formal training, or you’re new to shooting and want to start off on the right foot, this action-packed class is for you!

REFUND POLICYRefunds will only be given if Gateway Defense has to cancel a class. No refund will be given due to a student being unable to attend. A full class credit will be issued for a future Gateway Defense class by notifying brennan@gateway-defense.com no less than 14 days prior to the class date.

1-Day Rifle Foundations - July 14 (New Lisbon, WI)

    • A modern, reliable, semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223/.556, .300 BLK, 7.62x39, etc.

    • At least 3-4 standard capacity magazines. 

    • An adjustable, 2-point sling. 

    • A sturdy gun belt (concealed carry belt or battle belt/competition belt style).  

    • Minimum of 1 magazine carrier (battle belt or chest rig) with the ability to carry 2-3 magazines on your person. 

    • 500 rounds of ammunition

    • Eye protection (both clear and tinted recommended) 

    • Ear protection (electronic hearing protection required) 

    • Water and snacks 

    • Tools to service your optics, lights, holsters, guns, etc.

    • Spare batteries for optics and lights. 

    • Rain gear (we train rain or shine)
